Renting a place for your holiday in Orihuela Costa needn’t be a headache. It all comes down to knowing what to ask and understanding the advantages of dealing directly with whoever runs the property. This guide pulls together the essentials before you confirm your stay at Villa Capitan.
What direct booking is
Booking directly means dealing with the owner, without any platform taking a commission along the way. You talk to someone who knows the house first-hand, reads your messages in person and sorts out any questions without anonymous call centres in between. It’s the time-honoured way to rent and, with today’s tools, also one of the most convenient and secure.
Why it pays to book without middlemen
The first thing you notice is the price: with no platform commission, you pay less and the service is far more personal. But there are more reasons:
- Direct communication. You ask whatever you need and someone who genuinely knows the villa and the area answers, in your language.
- Flexibility. It’s simpler to agree on the check-in time, a longer stay or any special request.
- Personal service from start to finish. Before you arrive, during your stay and for any local tip: which beach to pick, where to eat or how to get here from the airport.
What to check before you book
Before confirming, run through four points:
- The real location. Where exactly is it and how do you reach the sea? Villa Capitan sits in the Fortuna I urbanisation in Villamartín, among the golf courses; the beaches are around 5 km away, a comfortable ten-minute drive.
- Capacity and layout. Check it suits your group. The villa has three bedrooms, all en-suite, and sleeps up to six people across three floors.
- Stay conditions. The minimum number of nights (seven) and extras such as the cleaning fee (€200). Good news: this area has no tourist tax.
- Honest photos and description. That what you see — private pool with hydromassage, two saunas, fireplace, Bosch kitchen — is what you’ll find.
Minimum nights and check-in
We work with a seven-night minimum, with seasonal rates (from €200/night). Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 11 am, with flexibility if your flight makes that awkward. We send the arrival instructions ahead of time so your first day is simple.
